1. Questions and Answers - Professional Credits
Every request submitted via the IFX Portal is assessed for the attribution of Professional Credits. Professional Credits reflect the complexity and range of the question submitted and are an indication of projected time required to consider the question by an expert Adviser.
The Q&A metric allows for up to 3 Credits to be assessed for a Q&A
submission to be considered as a "Question and Answer" and these are processed automatically in the course of events.
The number of Credits is displayed in the Member Console "My Q&A" menu and are debited to the Member Credit reserve and/or a single Q&A deduction.
Some of the factors to be considered in the attribution of Credits are as follows.
Each of these factors attract 1 additional Credit.
Subject : The jurisdiction (s) involved.
Multiple Questions : The number and range of questions asked.
Calculations : Review and Verification of Calculations
Documents : Review of Uploaded Documents and/or extended Facts
Phone or video Meeting Request

2. Case Reviews - Matters beyond Q&A Metric
Matters involving 4 Credits or more are considered to be "Case Reviews" and these are, by definition, outside of the Q&A Metric because they usually involve complex case issues, document reviews and other pan jurisdictional issues - clearly outlining a "Case" as opposed to a "Q&A"
Some of the factors to be considered in the attribution of 4 or more Credits are as follows
Subject : The jurisdiction (s) involved.
Questions : The number and range of questions asked.
Calculations : Review and Verification of Calculations
Documents : Review of Documents and/or extended Facts
Alternative Strategies : Pan Jurisdictional Issues
Complex Case Scenario
On activation, all attributed Credits and Q&A allocations are reversed and credited back to the Member profile, and a nominal and fixed Case Review fee requires payment for the matter to proceed. This is a simple checkout process and is offset by the restoration of attributed credits to the member account.
Case Review fees enable the specialist Adviser to allocate the additional time required to respond to the matter submitted and potentially engage the member offline for any further Advice and/or documentation required.
